1. Linda, what’s your classroom in England like?
琳達(dá)，你在英國的教室是什么樣子的？
What’s…like? 意為“……怎么樣？”該句型也常用來詢問人的性格、品質(zhì)。
e.g. (1) What’s the weather like in Beijing?
北京的天氣怎么樣？
(2) What’s your sister like？
你姐姐是個(gè)什么樣子的人？
2. There are thirty students in my class. 我的班里有三十名學(xué)生。
There is a map of England. 有一張英國地圖。
there be句型，表示“某地有某人（物）”。
句式結(jié)構(gòu)： There be+主語+地點(diǎn).
注意：當(dāng)be動(dòng)詞后面的主語是可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞時(shí)，be動(dòng)詞要用單數(shù)形式is。當(dāng)be動(dòng)詞后面的主語是可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)時(shí)，要用are。

本句為There be句型的特殊疑問句，結(jié)構(gòu)為：
How many + 名詞復(fù)數(shù) + are there + 地點(diǎn)?
