whether conj.(if) 是否
whether用法歌訣：主語(yǔ)從句用whether，賓語(yǔ)從句or not，不定式前介詞后。
whether與if用法區(qū)別：
主從表從同位從，if不用whether用；
discuss和介詞后，whether獨(dú)能顯神通；
避免歧義要慎重，其他情況可換用。
e.g. I didn’t know whether to believe him or not.
我不知道該不該相信他。
I wonder whether / if I can ask you some questions.
我想知道能否問(wèn)你一些問(wèn)題。
