Language points
Is that/this …? 那/這是……嗎？
這是個(gè)一般疑問句，是用來確認(rèn)物主關(guān)系的。
肯定回答：Yes, it is. 否定回答：No, it isn’t.
注意：答語不用this或that。
例句：Is this an orange? 這是個(gè)桔子嗎？
Yes, it is. 是的，它是。
Is that your jacket? 那是你的夾克嗎？
No, it isn’t. 不，不是。
Are these/those …?
這些/那些是……嗎？
在這種句型中名詞要用復(fù)數(shù)形式。不用不可數(shù)名詞。
肯定回答：Yes, they are. 是的。
否定回答：No, they aren’t. 不是。
注意：不能用these或those來作簡(jiǎn)略回答。
名詞性物主代詞。
mine，hers，yours 等是名詞性物主代詞，相當(dāng)于一個(gè)名詞，可以在句子中單獨(dú)使用。它相當(dāng)于“形容詞物主代詞 + 名詞”。而形容詞性物主代詞只能和名詞在一起使用。
例句： This is your ruler. It’s not my ruler.
= This ruler is yours. It’s not mine.
這是你的尺子，它不是我的。
Those aren’t his books. They’re her books.
= Those books aren’t his. They’re hers.
那些書不是他的。它們是她的。
