Language points
1.dress up 裝扮；喬裝打扮。
dress up 常與 as，in 連用構成短語：
dress up as… 意為“裝扮/喬裝打扮成……”
dress up in… 意為“穿上……”后接表示衣服或顏色的名詞。
►He likes to dress up as a soldier. 他喜歡裝扮成軍人。
►On Christmas Day we always dress up in red.
在圣誕節(jié)我們總是穿上紅衣服。
辨析：dress, wear, put on, have on 與 be in
dress “給某人穿衣服”，其賓語是人或反身代詞，不是表示衣服等的名詞。
wear“穿著；戴著”強調狀態(tài)。
put on“穿上；戴著”強調動作。
have on“穿著；戴著”強調狀態(tài)。不能用于被動語態(tài)。
be in“穿著；戴著”強調狀態(tài)，通常接表示顏色的名詞。
►She dressed her son and then sent him to school.
她給兒子穿好衣服并送他去上學。
►She wears red shoes.
她穿著紅色的鞋子。
►He put on his best clothes for the party.
為參加晚會他穿上了最好的衣服。
►She had a beautiful new suit on.

2.“Trick or treat” means kids will play a trick on you if you don’t give them a treat.
（1）play a trick on 意為“捉弄”。
►These children love playing tricks on their teacher.
這些孩子喜歡捉弄他們的老師。
（2） if 意為“如果”，此處用于引導條件狀語從句，主句是一般將來時，從句則用一般現(xiàn)在時。
►I will go home if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
如果明天不下雨，我就回家。
