泰晤士河（Thames River）是英國的“母親河”，被譽(yù)為英國最美的河流，是旅行的必到之處。第一次來河邊就是被他的魅力深深吸引。因為是晚上，河兩岸古老的建筑燈火輝煌，河道很寬，中間有很多游船，像星星之火點(diǎn)綴著河流；一側(cè)高聳的大本鐘（Big Ben）在夜空中閃爍著金屬的光澤；另一側(cè)高大宏偉的倫敦眼(London Eye)遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)地釋放著五彩的光芒。微風(fēng)襲來，空氣中彌漫著樹木花草的味道，聆聽著河水隨風(fēng)起波的細(xì)小聲音，真是讓人陶醉。
