一般情況在詞尾直接加 est；以字母 e 結(jié)尾的只加 st；
重讀閉音節(jié)詞尾只有一個(gè)輔音字母時(shí)，先雙寫該輔音字母，再加 est；
以輔音字母 + y 結(jié)尾的先變 y 為 i 再加 est；
在多音節(jié)和部分雙音節(jié)詞的前加 most 或 least；
此外還有一些不規(guī)則變化的單詞，需要我們特殊背誦。

最高級(jí)的用法
1）我是我們班最高的。I am the tallest in our class.
2）他是三人中跳的最高的。He jumps highest of the three people.
表示三者或三者以上的人或事物的比較，其中一個(gè)某方面超過其他幾個(gè)時(shí)，我們要用形容詞或副詞的最高級(jí)，在句子的后面可以用 of ( in ) 短語來表示比較的范圍，形容詞的最高級(jí)前面一般要加定冠詞 the。副詞最高級(jí)前面的 the 可以省去。
