英語動詞有兩種語態(tài), 主動語態(tài)和被動語態(tài)。主動語態(tài)表示主語是動作的執(zhí)行者,如:
They built a new bridge over the river.
被動語態(tài)表示主語是動作的承受者,如:
A new bridge was built over the river.
當(dāng)主語是動作的執(zhí)行者時,隨后的動詞用主動態(tài);當(dāng)主語是動作的承受者時,隨后的動詞用被動態(tài)。英語動詞的主動態(tài)是沒有標(biāo)記的，而被動態(tài)則是有標(biāo)記的，通常由助動詞be + 及物動詞的過去分詞構(gòu)成。
Many people speak English. (主動)
English is spoken by many people. (被動)
We can use the passive voice when
it is obvious who performs the action.
e.g. Word processing skills are taught
in our computer lessons.
(It is obvious that the person who teaches word processing skills is the Computer Studies teacher.)

一、主動語態(tài)變?yōu)楸粍诱Z態(tài)
把主動語態(tài)的賓語變?yōu)楸粍诱Z態(tài)的主語,用主格把謂語變?yōu)楸粍咏Y(jié)構(gòu),注意be 的時態(tài)和原句要保持一致。把主動語態(tài)的主語放在介詞by后作賓語，將主格變?yōu)橘e格。
二、被動句變?yōu)橹鲃泳涞牟襟E:
1) 找到動作的執(zhí)行者(常為被動句的賓語)作主動句的主語.
2) 找到be+過去分詞結(jié)構(gòu)還原為及物動詞原形.
3) 找到動作的承受者(常為被動句的主語)作主動句的賓語.
4) 確定及物動詞的時態(tài)。數(shù)(注意)在以上轉(zhuǎn)換中,代詞作主語用主格, 代詞作賓語用賓格.
