We use although/though to contrast two clauses. Although is more formal than though.

although和though引導(dǎo)的 讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
although和though都是從屬連詞，引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句，意為：雖然、盡管。
讓步狀語(yǔ)從句表示即便出現(xiàn)從句屮的情況，主句動(dòng)作仍然會(huì)發(fā)生，有“退ー步說(shuō)……”的意思。
I will try it, although I may fail.
即使我可能失敗,我也要試ー下。
Though he did not have much money, he was still happy.
雖然他不富有，但他很快樂(lè)。
Although/though it was only eight o’clock, there were few people in the streets.
雖然才八點(diǎn)鐘，街上就沒(méi)什么人了。

1. so…that引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句
so …that句型中的so是副詞，常用來(lái)
修飾形容詞或副詞，常用句型為：
主語(yǔ) + 謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞 +so +adv./adj.+that從句
如：The boy ran so fast that I couldn’t catch him. 那個(gè)男孩跑的如此快以至于我追不上他。
2. such …that…作“如此…以致于…”解，連接一個(gè)表示結(jié)果的狀語(yǔ)從句。
與so…that 意思相同，但用法不同。
如：so…that這一結(jié)構(gòu)中，so后邊可加形容詞或副詞，而such后邊要用名詞（這個(gè)名詞前面可以帶形容詞，也可以不帶）。
1) such＋a(an)＋adj.＋單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞＋that…
He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him.
2) such＋adj.＋不可數(shù)名詞+ that…
He has made such great progress that the teachers are pleased with him
3）such＋adj.＋復(fù)數(shù)名詞+that…
They are such interesting novels that I want to read them once again.
