—Whose cap is it，then? 那么,它是誰的帽子呢？
— It’s Sally’s.是莎莉的。
這是由疑問詞whose引導(dǎo)的一個特殊疑問句。whose意為“誰的”，表示所屬關(guān)系，在句中既可單獨(dú)使用，也可與名詞連用；其答語用名詞性物主代詞或名詞所有格。如： — Whose T-shirt is this?
= Whose is this T-shirt?
—It’s hers. / It’s Sally’s.

名詞所有格相當(dāng)于漢語中“……的”。其構(gòu)成方式有兩種：
1）一般在單數(shù)名詞后加 ’s 。如：Jane’s
2) 以s結(jié)尾的單詞的復(fù)數(shù)名詞直接加 ’。
如：the students’
名詞性物主代詞=形容詞性物主代詞+名詞
我的······ ：mine = my + n.
你的······ ：yours = your + n.
他的······ ：his = his + n.
她的······：hers = her + n.
它的······ ：its = its + n.
我們的······ ：ours = our + n.
你們的······ ：yours = your + n.
他們的······ ：theirs = their + n.
