1get off 下車；從……下來
[觀察] Danny and Jenny get off the bus.

[探究]含有g(shù)et的短語：
get on/off 上/下(公共汽車、火車、飛機(jī)、輪船、地鐵等)
get into/out of 上/下(小轎車、出租車、電梯等)
[拓展]同根詞：pronounce v. 發(fā)音
[拓展] get off還可以表示“從……下來”，相當(dāng)于get down from。例如：

2get lost 迷路，走失，丟失
[觀察] But they get lost on the way to the bookstore.

[探究] get lost 意為“迷路，走失，丟失”，相當(dāng)于be lost。get在此處是系動詞；lost是形容詞，意為“失蹤的，迷路的，丟失的”。
3on the way to 在去……的路上
[觀察] But they get lost on the way to the bookstore.
但是，在去書店的路上他們迷路了。
I will buy some fruit on my way home.我要在回家的路上買些水果。
[探究] (1)on the way to意為“在去……的路上”，相當(dāng)于on one's way to, one's為形容詞性物主代詞，要和主語在人稱上保持一致。
(2)若on the way to后接表示地點(diǎn)的副詞，如：here, there, home等，則要省去介詞to。
