等于do one’s best，后跟to do形式。one’s要隨主語(yǔ)的變化而改變。

表示“在某具體的時(shí)間之前”，可用于一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)/一般過(guò)去時(shí)/一般將來(lái)時(shí)等時(shí)態(tài)。
He often gets to school before 7 o’clock.他經(jīng)常在七點(diǎn)之前到校。
She was a nurse before 2010.
2010年之前，她是一名護(hù)士。

important為多音節(jié)單詞，比較級(jí)為more important，最高級(jí)為the most important。相似的詞有beautiful, colourful, delicious等。
