1. I was quite nervous then. 那時(shí)我相當(dāng)緊張。
quite“相當(dāng)”，副詞，后面一般跟形容詞或副詞，相當(dāng)于very。
注意：quite如果修飾名詞短語(yǔ)，放在a，an之前；very修飾名詞短語(yǔ)，放在a，an之后。
She is quite a lovely girl. = She is a very lovely girl.
她是個(gè)相當(dāng)可愛(ài)的女孩。
2. My students are wonderful and the other teachers are always helpful. 我的學(xué)生們很棒，其余的老師也很樂(lè)于助人。
the other+復(fù)數(shù)名詞，表示“除去提到的，所有其余的”。
the other+單數(shù)名詞，表示“兩個(gè)中的另一個(gè)”。
I can only see one shoe. I can’t find the other.
我只能看見(jiàn)一只鞋，找不到另一只了。
