【高頻】look...up查找……；查閱……，指查找與文字信息有關(guān)的資料，用名詞或代詞作賓語。
eg：Please look up his phone number.
請查一下他的電話號碼。
當(dāng)代詞it或them作賓語時，必須放在look和up之間，并注意代詞用it還是them。
eg：I don’t know the meaning of this word. I’ll look it up in a dictionary.
我不知道這個單詞的意思。我將在詞典中查一下它。
“look up”還有“向上看”的意思。

be afraid“害怕”
