temperature n. 溫度
[觀察] The temperature outside is cool and the sky is blue.
外面天氣很涼爽，天空很藍(lán)。
What's the temperature in the office？辦公室內(nèi)的溫度是多少？
[探究] temperature意為“溫度”。其用法如下：
(1)詢問(wèn)溫度的句型是“________ the temperature…？”意為“……的溫度是多少？”不可用how much提問(wèn)。
(2)表示溫度的“高”和“低”可使用形容詞high和low。
[拓展] temperature還有“體溫”的意思。take one's temperature意為“量體溫”；have a temperature意為“發(fā)燒”。
句型透視

她拿著一個(gè)黑色的大包站在全班同學(xué)面前。
[探究] (1)in front of意為“___________”，強(qiáng)調(diào)在范圍________(之外/之內(nèi))的前面。
(2)class在句中表示“全班同學(xué)”，表示復(fù)數(shù)含義。
(3)“with a very big black bag”在句中作伴隨狀語(yǔ)，即主語(yǔ)發(fā)出一個(gè)動(dòng)作時(shí)，又伴隨著別的動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生。如：

[探究]“It is a great season for…/doing…”意為“____________________”，該結(jié)構(gòu)也可寫成“It is a great season to do sth.”所以，本句話也可說(shuō)成“It is a great season for picking apples.”或“It is a great season to pick apples.”
[拓展] 和該句型結(jié)構(gòu)相同的是：It's time for sth./doing sth.＝It's time to do sth.，意為“到做某事的時(shí)間了”。
