1．Running helps us remember information.
(1)動名詞running在這里作主語。英語中單個動名詞或動名詞短語在句子中作主語時，謂語動詞要用第三人稱單數(shù)形式。如：Doing more exercise makes them healthy.多做運動使他們健康。
(2)remember作及物動詞，意為“記住，記得，記起”。如：I remember what you told me.
我記得你對我說過的話。
【辨析】remember to do sth.與remember doing sth.
①remember to do sth.意為“記得去做某事”，強調(diào)事情還未發(fā)生。如：Remember to come to the meeting on time tomorrow.記住明天按時來參加會議。
②remember doing sth.意為“記得做過某事”，強調(diào)事情已經(jīng)完成。如：I remember telling you about it once.我記得這事我曾經(jīng)告訴過你。
(3)【辨析】information、message與news
① information 意為“信息”，是不可數(shù)名詞，指的是情報、資料等。如：You can call us for more information.你可以打電話給我們詢問更多的信息。
② message意為“消息，信息”，是可數(shù)名詞，指口信、賀詞、賀電等。如：Can I take a message for you？我能為你捎個口信嗎？
