1．This is the first step towards success.
(1)step 作可數(shù)名詞，意為“步驟，腳步”。
常用短語：step by step一步步地；take steps to do sth.采取措施做某事。如：We should deal with this problem step by step.我們應(yīng)該一步一步地解決這個問題。
(2)towards 作介詞，意為“向，朝向”，可與to替換使用。如：The house is towards south.這棟房子朝南。
2．Take a piece of paper and write down a list of your habits.
write down是動詞短語，意為“寫下，記下”。因?yàn)閐own是副詞，其后面的賓語如果是代詞，則要放在down的前面；如果后面的賓語是名詞，則放在down的前面或者后面均可。如：This rule is very important.You must write it down.這條規(guī)則很重要。你必須把它記下來。
3．I brush my teeth three times a day.
(1)brush作動詞，意為“刷”。常用短語：brush one's teeth刷牙。如：You should brush your teeth every day.你應(yīng)該每天刷牙。
【拓展】brush作名詞，意為“刷子”，其復(fù)數(shù)形式為brushes。
(2)teeth是可數(shù)名詞tooth的復(fù)數(shù)形式，意為“牙齒”。注意tooth在變復(fù)數(shù)形式時(shí)，是把中間的oo改為ee。如：How many times do you brush your teeth every day？
