1. Do you know that our basketball team is going to play in another city?
that 引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句，像know這樣的詞，還有say, think, believe, wish, hear, wonder, know, agree, hope等。
（1）含義
在復(fù)合句中作賓語(yǔ)的句子叫賓語(yǔ)從句。在某些動(dòng)詞、形容詞或介詞之后都可以帶有賓語(yǔ)從句。
（2）連接詞
賓語(yǔ)從句的連接詞主要分為三種：連接代詞that；疑問(wèn)代詞或疑問(wèn)副詞；從屬連詞if/whether。
（3）跟在及物動(dòng)詞后的賓語(yǔ)從句
及物動(dòng)詞后面由that引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句
常跟連接代詞that引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句的動(dòng)詞有：agree、believe、decide、hear、hope、imagine、know、notice、say、see、think、wish等，that在從句中無(wú)詞義，不充當(dāng)句子充分。在口語(yǔ)和非正式文體中，連接代詞that可以省略。
例：I hear (that) he will help you with your French. 我聽(tīng)說(shuō)他將幫助你學(xué)法語(yǔ)。
及物動(dòng)詞后由疑問(wèn)代詞或疑問(wèn)副詞引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句
賓語(yǔ)從句中常用的疑問(wèn)代詞主要有what、which、who、whom、whose等，疑問(wèn)副詞主要為when、how、where、why等，疑問(wèn)代詞和疑問(wèn)副詞在句中起連接作用，作句子成分，各有自己的意義。
例：Do you know what he did with that thing?
你知道他是怎樣處理那件事的嗎？
及物動(dòng)詞后面有if/whether引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句
if/whether引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，意為“是否”。
注意：與or not或動(dòng)詞不定式連用時(shí)，連接詞通常使用whether而不用if。
例：He asked if/whether she liked swimming.
他問(wèn)她是否喜歡游泳。
（4）跟在形容詞后的賓語(yǔ)從句
有些表示感情的形容詞后面可以接賓語(yǔ)從句。這類(lèi)形容詞主要有sure、glad、sorry、happy、afraid等。
例：I'm afraid that you can't afford this notebook.
恐怕你買(mǎi)不起這個(gè)筆記本。
