4. Almost all of it can be reused or recycled!
1) 此句為含有情態(tài)動詞的被動語態(tài),其構(gòu)成形式為:情態(tài)動詞(can / may / must / should) +be + 過去分詞。

2) re-是前綴,意思是“再,重新”。例:rewrite, replay, reappear, rebuild, remarry等。
reuse意思是“重新使用;再使用”。

recycle意思是“使再循環(huán);使……重新利用,重復(fù)利用”。
例:They recycle empty tins so as to use the metal.

1. it 的用法:
(1)it作代詞
it不僅可以指代具體的物品,而且還可以指代時間、距離、路程、天氣等。
例:It is half past five now.現(xiàn)在五點半了。
It is sunny and hot in my hometown in summer. 在我的家鄉(xiāng)夏季晴朗、炎熱。
(2)it作形式主語
當句子的主語過長時,為避免頭重腳輕通常將it置于句首作形式主語,而將真正的主語(通常是不定式短語、動名詞或主語從句)放在句子的后面。
例:It is important for us to use English as much as possible.
對我們來說盡可能多地使用英語是很重要的。
It is reported that there will be a thunderstorm tomorrow. 據(jù)報道明天將會有一場暴風(fēng)雨。
(3)it作形式賓語
當句子的賓語過長時,常用it作形式賓語,用來代替真正的賓語(通常是不定式短語、動名詞或賓語從句)。例:I found it hard to walk through the forest in five hours. 我發(fā)現(xiàn)在五個小時之內(nèi)穿越森林是件很困難的事。
Jim thinks it is a pity that he didn't win the first place in the English competition. 沒有在英語競賽中獲得第一名,吉姆覺得很遺憾。
2. 動詞不定式作主語的用法
動詞不定式的基本形式為“to + 動詞原形”,其否定形式是“not + 動詞原形”。它能起名詞的作用,在句子中充當主語、表語、賓語和賓語補足語。動詞不定式在作主語時,常用it作形式主語,而往往將動詞不定式放在謂語或表語之后。
例:It’s not easy to learn a foreign language well.
(= To learn a foreign language well is not easy.)
