◆used to意為“過(guò)去經(jīng)常”,后加動(dòng)詞原形,它可以用于各種人稱(chēng)之后,它的否定式和疑問(wèn)句式都有兩種形式:
否定式:used not to+動(dòng)詞原形
didn’t use to+動(dòng)詞原形
疑問(wèn)句:Used+主語(yǔ)+to+動(dòng)詞原形+…?
Did+主語(yǔ)+use to+動(dòng)詞原形+…?
【拓展】(1)be used to意為“習(xí)慣于”,后接名詞、代詞、動(dòng)名詞作介詞賓語(yǔ),并且有各種時(shí)態(tài)的變化。used可用quite修飾,如果強(qiáng)調(diào)由不習(xí)慣到習(xí)慣這一過(guò)程,常用get或become代替be。
(2)be used to do sth.為被動(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu),意為“被用來(lái)做某事”。
◆ever since意為“從那時(shí)起直至今日,此后一直”。
2.I considered all the things that could be wrong,but I still can’t figure out what the problem is.
◆consider在此處用作及物動(dòng)詞,意為“考慮,細(xì)想”,其后可接名詞、動(dòng)詞-ing形式、從句或“疑問(wèn)詞+動(dòng)詞不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)。
【拓展】consider還有“認(rèn)為;把……看作”的意思。
◆figure out意為“弄懂,弄清楚,弄明白”。
3.Sometimes it’s pretty hard to tell what’s wrong in a friendship.
◆pretty在本句中用作副詞,意為“很,非常,相當(dāng);頗”。
◆what’s wrong意為“出了什么問(wèn)題”,wrong前不能有定冠詞the。詢(xún)問(wèn)某人出了什么問(wèn)題,常用“What’s wrong with sb.?”表示。

(2)常見(jiàn)短語(yǔ)有:try on試穿;try one’s best盡某人最大努力。
◆another在此處為形容詞,意為“另一,又一,再一”,泛指三者或三者以上的另一個(gè)。其后可接單數(shù)名詞,“of+復(fù)數(shù)名詞”以及“基數(shù)詞+復(fù)數(shù)名詞”。
