該句式中只有一個(gè)主語，主語為單數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞時(shí)，be動(dòng)詞用is；主語若為復(fù)數(shù)，be動(dòng)詞用are。例如：

公園里有很多座小山。
該句式中有幾個(gè)并列主語，則謂語動(dòng)詞按就近原則處理，即與靠近be動(dòng)詞的第一個(gè)主語保持一致。例如：
There is a blackboard，many desks and chairs in the classroom.
