1) answer, 可數(shù)名詞，“答案，回答，答復(fù)”;動(dòng)詞，“回答、答復(fù)”。

2) different,形容詞，不同的。
be different from... 與......不同
eg: My pen is diffrent from yours.

3. The number of candles is the person's age.
1）the number of... “...的數(shù)目”，后跟可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)，
作主語時(shí)謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)。Eg:

a number of... “許多的，大量的”，后跟可數(shù)名詞
