until 的用法
(1) until 用于肯定句中,意為“直到……止”,主句謂語動詞用延續(xù)性動詞。其后可加名詞(短語)作時間狀語;或加句子 ,引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句。
e.g. I stayed until he came back.

(2) until 用于否定句中,構(gòu)成not...until,意為“直到……才”, 主句謂語動詞用短暫性動詞。
e.g. I won't go there until he calls me.
