時(shí)間狀語從句
在英語中用從句來表示一件事情或一個(gè)行為發(fā)生的時(shí)間, 那么這個(gè)從句就叫時(shí)間狀語從句。
時(shí)間狀語從句在句中相當(dāng)于時(shí)間狀語, 由when, before, after, as soon as, until/till 這幾個(gè)詞引導(dǎo)時(shí), 從句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)表示一般將來時(shí); while 表示動(dòng)作發(fā)生的時(shí)候, 從句用進(jìn)行時(shí); since 引導(dǎo)的從句一般用過去時(shí)。
1.由as soon as 引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句
as soon as 意為“一……就……”，表示從句的動(dòng)作一發(fā)生,，主句的動(dòng)作馬上就發(fā)生。
注意：如果主句是一般將來時(shí)，則從句通常用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。
e.g. As soon as we entered the Chinese restaurant, the waiter came to take our order.
我們一進(jìn)中餐館，服務(wù)員就來為我們點(diǎn)菜。
As soon as winter arrives, some birds will fly south for a warm living environment.
冬天一到，有些鳥就會(huì)飛到南方尋找溫暖的生活環(huán)境。
2.由before 與after 引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句
before 意為“在……之前”, 表示主句的動(dòng)作發(fā)生在從句動(dòng)作之前。
after意為“在……之后”, 表示主句的動(dòng)作發(fā)生在從句動(dòng)作之后。
e.g. Our teachers tell us that we should make full preparations before we do something.
我們的老師告訴我們，在我們做某事之前，我們應(yīng)該做好充分的準(zhǔn)備。
In the second month after I joined the basketball club, I learned many new skills.
在我加入籃球俱樂部后的第二個(gè)月，我學(xué)到了很多新技能。
注意： before和after也可以用作介詞
3.由when 和while 引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句
4.由until 或till 引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句
主句為肯定式
主句謂語動(dòng)詞必須為延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞。
Let’s wait until the rain stops.
咱們等雨停了吧。
主句為否定式
主句謂語動(dòng)詞是非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞。
I won’t go until I’m good and ready.
我要完全準(zhǔn)備就緒后才走。
5.since 引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句
since 表示“自從”，引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句常用于“主句(現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)， 主句是肯定句的時(shí)候，動(dòng)詞用延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞) +since+ 從句(一般過去時(shí)) ”的句式中。
拓展: 如果主句的動(dòng)詞不是延續(xù)性的動(dòng)詞而是表示目前的狀態(tài), 可用一
般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。
e.g. It is/has been twenty years since he left his hometown.
自從他離開家鄉(xiāng), 已經(jīng)有二十年了。
