What do you know about contemporary art?
1. When did the Contemporary Art Movement begin?
It began in the late 20th century.
2. What are the two examples of CA mentioned?
An unmade bed, and a pile of empty bottles, cigarette ends and pieces of colored paper.
3. What’s the controversy (爭議) over CA?
Some thinks CA lacks skill, meaning and artistic value; others argue that it can stimulate new discussions and understanding of everyday objects.

Pause give listener extra time to understand what is being said. Pausing also allows the speaker to emphasis certian words within a sentence. Try to be aware of where and when to pause during a conversation.
