1. What do you think of game shows?
1)What do you think of ...?
“你認為……怎么樣?”
談論對某事物的喜好程度, 可選擇的回答有：
I like it./I don’t mind it./I don’t like it./
I can’t stand it./I like it very much./I love it./
It’s beautiful./They’re fantastic.
2) think “想, 考慮, 思索”(v. 動詞) 可以和許多介詞搭配, 組成新的意思。
think of “考慮”，“有……的看法”, 有時等同于think about. 如：
► What does he think of Beijing Opera?
他對京劇有什么看法？
► My mother always thinks of everything!
我媽媽總是想到所有的東西。
think highly of sb. /sth.
對某人或某物評價甚高
► Mr. Black thinks highly of his son.
布萊克先生對他兒子評價甚高。
think about “考慮” (指計劃, 觀念, 看它是否相宜、可行)
► He is thinking about going to China.
他正在考慮去中國。
2. Do you want to join me? 你想要加入我嗎？
1) want vt. 意為“需要；想要”。
want + n 想要……
► I want a sweater. 我需要一件毛衣。
► The boy wants to go to Taiyuan.
那個小男孩想去太原。
want to do sth 想要做某事
► If you want to be respected, please learn to respect others first.
如果你想別人尊重你，就請先尊重別人。
want sb to do sth 想讓某人干某事……
► I want her to go to a movie with me.
我想讓她和我去看電影。
3. I don’t mind them.
mind v. 介意
作及物動詞時，后面通常接名詞、代詞、 V-ing形式、復合結構、從句等。
► Would you mind my closing the window?
你介意我關上窗戶嗎？
► Would you mind waiting outside for a moment?
您介意在外面等一會兒嗎？
4. I can’t stand it! 我不能忍受它/我受不了它！
stand 1)“站, 站立” e.g. Stand up! 起立
2) “順利接受；忍耐、忍受” (多用于否定句、疑問句) , 后可接動名詞。
► I can’t stand the movie! It is too boring!
► Mary couldn’t stand the hot weather.
► Can you stand the pain?
► I can’t stand waiting any longer.
► I can’t stand your being treated like that.
