Could 和should 的用法
1. Why don’t you do sth.?
這是給別人提建議，建議某人做什么事情的句型。
Why don’t we come more often?
咱們?yōu)槭裁床唤?jīng)常來(lái)這里呢?
Why don’t you buy a book for your father?
給你爸爸買本書怎么樣？
這個(gè)句子還可以寫成Why not do…?
Why not get her a camera?
為什么不給她買個(gè)相機(jī)呢？
這個(gè)句型還有發(fā)出禮貌的邀請(qǐng)的用法。
Why don’t you have a drink of tea? 請(qǐng)喝茶。

肯定回答：Good idea /OK /All right /Sounds good等。
否定回答：I’m afraid not / That’s too … /Sorry, I can’t等。
2. How/What about…? 表示“……怎么樣/好嗎？”這個(gè)句型是詢問(wèn)聽(tīng)話這一方對(duì)某事物的看法或者意見(jiàn)。about是個(gè)介詞，它后面要接名詞或者doing。
e.g. How about his playing football?
他足球踢得怎么樣？
What about swimming with us?
和我們一起游泳怎么樣？
How about her English? 她的英語(yǔ)怎樣?
3. could和should都可以用來(lái)表示建議或勸告，前者比后者在語(yǔ)氣上更加婉轉(zhuǎn)、客氣。 could意為“可以”，should意為“應(yīng)該；應(yīng)當(dāng)”。e.g.
— I need some money to pay for the summer camp.
—You should / could borrow some money from your brother.
—我需要些錢來(lái)支付（參加）夏令營(yíng)的費(fèi)用。
—你應(yīng)該/可以向你的哥哥借一些錢。
1) could的用法
could是can的過(guò)去式，在比較委婉客氣地提出
請(qǐng)求或陳述用法時(shí)，一般多用could，回答時(shí)用can，例如：
— Could you please tell us where we show our tickets?
— Yes, I can.
— 你能告訴我們?cè)谀睦餀z票嗎？
— 可以，我能。
