1、How long 的用法
How long “多長” 用來詢問多長時間也可詢問 某物 有多長
復(fù)習(xí)：
How soon “多久之后”多與一般將來時連用
How far “多遠”用來詢問距離，指路程的遠近
how often 它是對表示頻度的時間狀語的提問表示“多久（一次）”

回答方式有兩種：
-I've had it for two years.
-I had it since my fourth birthday.

考點講解：
1、辨析 how long how soon how often how far
how long , 多久，多長。 對時間段提問，常用“for+一段時間”或“since +時間點” “since+時間段+ago" "since +從句”來回答
how soon, 多久以后，對“in+時間段”的提問，長用于一般將來時的句子中。其答語常用“in+時間段”。
how often,多久一次，對頻率提問，其答語常為once (twice/ ...) +時間段，always 等。
how far , 多遠，對距離提問。 其答語是表示距離的內(nèi)容。
2、Jeff's family is having a yard sale.
family 為集合名詞，意為“家庭，親屬”。 表示整體時，用作單數(shù)，謂語動詞用單數(shù)；表示家庭成員時，用作復(fù)數(shù)，謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。
eg: His family is going to move.
My family are very well.
have a yard sale 意為“舉行庭院拍賣會”， 其中sale為名詞， 意為“出售，銷售", 常與介詞on或for 連用，構(gòu)成短語:
on sale “出售，上市”
for sale “ 代售，供出售”

3、Amy thinks it's hard to sell her old things.
It's +adj. for sb. to do sth.
“(對某人來說）做某事是........的”
it 作形式主語，真正的主語是后面的動詞不定式短語。 因動詞不定式短語作主語較長，而謂語部分相對較短，it 代替后就避免了頭重腳輕的現(xiàn)象。其中sb.是動詞不定式to do 的邏輯主語。
4、memory
名詞， 意為”記憶，回憶“。
復(fù)數(shù)形式：memories
動詞形式：memorize
eg: She has a good memory.
This photo album has given many memories of my school days.
