指示代詞的用法
this，these，that，those 稱為 指示代詞, 用來(lái)指示或標(biāo)示人或事物，其中, this和that為單數(shù), these和those 為復(fù)數(shù)。另外, this和these用來(lái)指離自己較近的人或物, that和those 用來(lái)指離自己較遠(yuǎn)的人或物。
當(dāng)指示代詞所指的事物已確定時(shí)，后面的指示代詞指人時(shí)用he, she, they來(lái)代替，指物時(shí)用it和they來(lái)代替。
如：---Is this your book?
--Yes, it is.
---Are these your uncles?
--No, they aren’t.

Useful expressions
1. on the left 在左邊，on the right 在右邊，是表示方位的介詞短語(yǔ)，不僅可以用來(lái)描述人物之間的位置關(guān)系，還可用來(lái)描述事物之間的位置關(guān)系。
