wise /waɪz/ adj.明智的;充滿智慧的;聰明的
辨析wise與clever
wise常用來說明一個人有智慧，有遠見，有謀略；也可指由于知識、經(jīng)驗豐富及良好的判斷能力而能夠正確對待或處理人和事，常用于正式、客氣的場合。 (注意：多用于說明名人或偉人)
eg：Lincoln is a great leader, and he is also a wise, kind and honest man.
林肯是一個偉大的領袖，他也是一個英明、慈祥和誠實的人。
clever指人或動物腦子靈活；指事物時，常含有精巧、巧妙的意思。該詞運用廣泛。

no matter what 相當于whatever，意為“無論什么”，引導讓步狀語從句。
