open 開著的，營業(yè)的，辦公的，敞開的，開闊的
例：He slept in the room with the window open last night. 昨晚他在這個房間睡覺，窗戶沒關(guān)。

2. It’s nearly noon.
nearly adv. 幾乎，差不多，將近
nearly 和almost都表示“幾乎，差不多”，
在多數(shù)情況下，兩者之間沒有什么差別。
一般來說，almost表達的程度比nearly更接近一些。
例：The wind was so strong that people were nearly blown away as they waited for buses.
風刮得很厲害，等候公共汽車的人們幾乎要被風吹走。

3. Wake up, Mr. Bear!

不定代詞是不明確指代某個特定的人或物的代詞。不定代詞可以代替名詞和形容詞，表示不同的數(shù)量概念。不定代詞沒有主格和賓格之分，在句中可做主語、賓語、表語、定語等。
①不定代詞作主語
不定代詞作主語時，要明確這個不定代詞是單數(shù)還是復數(shù)。

②不定代詞作定語
作定語時，有的修飾可數(shù)名詞，如many, few；
有的修飾不可數(shù)名詞，如much, little；有的既可

There are many people here. 這里有很多人。
③不定代詞作表語

辨析：①some與any
a. some常用于肯定句中，any多用于否定句、疑問句或條件狀語從句中，兩者都可以修飾或代替可數(shù)名詞或不可數(shù)名詞。
例：Some say yes and some say no. 一些人說是，一些人說不。
I don’t like some of them. 我不喜歡他們中的一些人。
I don’t like any of them.我不喜歡他們中的任何一個人。
b. any 也可用于肯定句中，表示“任何”。
