receive sth . from sb . 意為“從某人處收到某物”。
eg：He received an award for bravery from the police service .
他以其勇敢行為受到警務(wù)部門的嘉獎(jiǎng)。
辨析：receive與accept
receive表示收到別人給予的東西，不含有收到人是否愿意接受的意思，是客觀上的“收到”。
She received a letter from her father .
她收到了她父親的一封信。
accept強(qiáng)調(diào)愿意接受，是主觀上的“接受”。
