geography n．地理(學(xué))
例: The students in the classroom are learning geography.

2. Recently, we have learned about the population of the world.

2) population n．人口
它是集合名詞，是人口的總稱，沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式。使用時要注意以下四點(diǎn)：
①表示 “某地有多少人口”，常使用固定結(jié)構(gòu)：
Sp. has a population of…＝The population of sp. is…
例：The population of Canada is 35 million.
＝ Canada has a population of 35 million.
加拿大有三千五百萬人口。
② “人口的多/少” 用形容詞large/big或者small來表示，不能用many/much或few/little。
例: China has a large/big population.
中國人口眾多。
③population在句中作主語的時候，謂語動詞使用單數(shù)形式。

現(xiàn)在完成時——構(gòu)成
肯定句：主語 + have / has + 過去分詞 + 其他。
否定句：主語 + haven’t / hasn’t + 過去分詞 + 其他。
一般疑問句：Have / Has + 主語 + 過去分詞 + …？
肯定答語：Yes, 主格代詞 + have / has.
否定答語：No, 主格代詞 + haven’t / hasn’t.
現(xiàn)在完成時——用法
1. 表示動作到現(xiàn)在為止已經(jīng)完成或剛剛完成。
例：He has turned the light off .他已把燈關(guān)了。
2. 動作發(fā)生在過去，強(qiáng)調(diào)對現(xiàn)在的結(jié)果、影響等。
例：He has been away from the city.
他已離開這個城市。(結(jié)果：他不在這個城市。)

我把鋼筆丟了。(結(jié)果：我現(xiàn)在無鋼筆用。)
