一、基本特征感悟

【感悟用法】

動(dòng)詞的-ing形式在句中作狀語(yǔ),修飾謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞或整個(gè)句子,表示動(dòng)作發(fā)生的時(shí)間、原因、條件、結(jié)果、讓步或伴隨情況等。

①Turning around,I saw a car driving up.轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)身,我看見(jiàn)一輛車開(kāi)過(guò)來(lái)了。

②Having sent her child to bed,she began to read the newspaper.

送孩子上床睡覺(jué)后,她開(kāi)始讀報(bào)紙。

③Not knowing his telephone number,I couldn’t get in touch with him.

我不知道他的電話號(hào)碼,所以聯(lián)系不上他。

④He came running back to tell me the news.他跑回來(lái)告訴我這個(gè)消息。

⑤Having been shown around the factory,they were very happy.

被領(lǐng)著參觀了工廠后,他們很高興。 

【自我總結(jié)】

1.句①為現(xiàn)在分詞的一般式____________作狀語(yǔ)。當(dāng)動(dòng)詞-ing形式的動(dòng)作與謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生或幾乎同時(shí)發(fā)生時(shí),用一般式。

2.句②為現(xiàn)在分詞的完成式________________作狀語(yǔ)。當(dāng)動(dòng)詞-ing形式的動(dòng)作先發(fā)生,而謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的動(dòng)作后發(fā)生時(shí),用完成式。 

3.句③為現(xiàn)在分詞的否定式________________作狀語(yǔ)。動(dòng)詞-ing形式的否定式是在它的前面加not。

4.句④動(dòng)詞-ing形式的主動(dòng)式。表示非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞和句子的主語(yǔ)(分詞的邏輯主語(yǔ))之間為_(kāi)___________關(guān)系。

5.句⑤動(dòng)詞-ing形式的被動(dòng)式。表示非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞和句子的主語(yǔ)(分詞的邏輯主語(yǔ))之間為_(kāi)___________關(guān)系。

二、主要用法精講

動(dòng)詞的-ing形式(短語(yǔ))可以在句中作狀語(yǔ)來(lái)修飾謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞或整個(gè)句子,用來(lái)表示動(dòng)作發(fā)生的時(shí)間、原因、條件、結(jié)果、讓步、方式或伴隨情況等。表示時(shí)間、原因或條件時(shí),通常位于句子的前部;表示方式、伴隨或結(jié)果時(shí),通常位于句子的后部。

1.作時(shí)間狀語(yǔ),相當(dāng)于時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句

Hearing the noise,I turned round.=When I heard the noise,I turned round.

聽(tīng)到響聲我轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)身去。 

2.作原因狀語(yǔ),相當(dāng)于原因狀語(yǔ)從句

Being too young,he couldn’t join the army.=Because he was too young,he couldn’t join the army.因?yàn)槟贻p,他不能參軍。 

3.作條件狀語(yǔ),相當(dāng)于條件狀語(yǔ)從句

Working hard,you’ll succeed.=If you work hard,you’ll succeed.

努力工作,你會(huì)成功的。

4.作讓步狀語(yǔ),相當(dāng)于讓步狀語(yǔ)從句

動(dòng)詞-ing短語(yǔ)作讓步狀語(yǔ),相當(dāng)于一個(gè)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句,有時(shí)它的前面可帶有連詞although,whether,even if,even though等。

Admitting what she said,I still think that she hasn’t tried her best.

=Although/Though I admit what she said,I still think that she hasn’t tried her best.

盡管承認(rèn)她所說(shuō)的話,但我仍然認(rèn)為她沒(méi)有盡最大的努力。
