1. older 與elder：兩者都是old 的比較級，
（1）elder 年齡較大的，資格較老的，尤指家庭成
員之間的長幼關(guān)系，通常作定語，不用于than引導(dǎo)的比較狀語從句

（2）older 指 “年齡較大的；較老的；較舊的”，既可以作定語，也可以作表語，可用于than引導(dǎo)的比較狀語從句
