【辨析】either,too,also與as well
(1) either用于否定句，放于句尾，意為"（后者）也（不）"其前常有逗號(hào)。
e.g.:If he doesn't go,I won't go,either.
(2) too用于肯定句，且一般放于句末，意為“(后者)也”，其前常有逗號(hào)。
e.g.:Jim likes red.I like red,too.
(3) also用于肯定句，且放于連系動(dòng)詞、助動(dòng)詞或情態(tài)動(dòng)詞之后，實(shí)義動(dòng)詞之前，意為“也”。
e.g.:They also agree with me .
(4) as well常用于肯定句句末，意為“也；還”，其前無(wú)逗號(hào)。
e.g.:He speaks English,and he knows French as well.

maybe此處作副詞，意為“也許，可能”，相當(dāng)于perhaps,常位于句首。
e.g.:Maybe she'll come this afternoon.

【辨析】may be與maybe
(1) may be意為“也許是，可能是”，may是情態(tài)動(dòng)詞，be是動(dòng)詞原形，兩者構(gòu)成完整的謂語(yǔ)形式，與主語(yǔ)形成系表結(jié)構(gòu)。
e.g.:He may be a soldier.
(2) maybe和may be可相互轉(zhuǎn)換。
e.g.:Maybe you are right.=You may be right.
