Grammar
有關(guān)系代詞或關(guān)系副詞引導(dǎo)用來修飾主句中的某一個名詞或代詞并起定語作用的從句，叫定語從句。
定語從句所修飾的詞叫先行詞，從句跟在先行詞后面。
定語從句的構(gòu)成方法是：關(guān)系代詞或副詞+陳述句語序
關(guān)系代詞有：who, whom, whose, which, that, as等
關(guān)系副詞有when, where, why等。
關(guān)系代詞有雙重功能，一方面代表前面所修飾的先行詞，把從句與先行詞連接起來；另一方面引導(dǎo)出從句并在從句中充當(dāng)某種句子成分。
The number of people who/that lost homes reached as many as 250,000.
It sounded like a train which/that was going under my house.
