Look at these sentences, which sentences have a comma(逗號(hào)) in the middle and which doesn’t?

一、條件狀語(yǔ)從句
If I start after dinner, I’ll finish it before I go to bed.
翻譯:如果我在晚飯后開(kāi)始,我將在我睡覺(jué)前完成它。
If you do all these other things instead of your homework, you won’t have time to study.
翻譯:如果你老是做與學(xué)習(xí)無(wú)關(guān)的事情,那么你就沒(méi)有時(shí)間學(xué)習(xí)。
He thinks something will go wrong if I play games on it.
翻譯:爸爸覺(jué)得如果我在電腦上玩游戲的話,電腦就會(huì)出毛病。
1. 用法:
如果 if 引導(dǎo)的從句表示某種假設(shè)的情況,主句則表示此種情況所導(dǎo)致的結(jié)果。
2. 主句與從句時(shí)態(tài)的問(wèn)題:
(1)“主將從現(xiàn)”
if 引導(dǎo)的條件狀語(yǔ)從句,若主句用一般將來(lái)時(shí),從句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。
e.g. If he runs, he’ll get there in time.
如果他跑步去,他就會(huì)及時(shí)趕到那兒。
(2)“主情從現(xiàn)”
if 引導(dǎo)的條件狀語(yǔ)從句,若主句中有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞時(shí),從句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)表示將來(lái)。
e.g. If it stops snowing, we can go out.
如果雪停了,我們就可以出去。
(3)“主祈從現(xiàn)”
if 引導(dǎo)的條件狀語(yǔ)從句,若主句是祈使句,從句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。
e.g. If you have an exam, be careful.
如果你要考試,要仔細(xì)。
