Objectives：

Observe the following sentences.
1. What a beautiful city!
2. Do you like traditional Western music or pop music?
3. Is this by Strauss or Mozart?
4. Listen to those drums!
5. It’s so beautiful!
6. Is it by the father or the son?
7. What nice weather!
8. Shall we go home or stay here?
9. Now I understand!
10. How carefully she is writing!

Look at the following sentences.
--- Is this by Strauss or Mozart?
--- It’s by Strauss.
--- Do you like traditional Western music or pop music?
--- Well, I like both.
在問(wèn)題中提供兩個(gè)或兩個(gè)以上可選答案的問(wèn)句叫選擇疑問(wèn)句。
選擇疑問(wèn)句中or所連接的可以是不同的內(nèi)容，如兩個(gè)名詞(the father or the son)、兩個(gè)動(dòng)詞 (call or email)、兩個(gè)介詞短語(yǔ) (by bus or by car)、專有名詞 (Mozart or Strauss)等。
在口語(yǔ)中，選擇疑問(wèn)句的語(yǔ)調(diào)應(yīng)是第一個(gè)選擇項(xiàng)讀升調(diào)、第二個(gè)選擇項(xiàng)讀降調(diào)。

Would you like coffee, tea or soda?

Should I call or email you?
我應(yīng)該給你打電話還是發(fā)電子郵件？
Did you come here by bus or by car?
你是坐公交車還是開(kāi)車過(guò)來(lái)的？

感嘆句
當(dāng)我們想表達(dá)一種較為強(qiáng)烈的感情，如喜悅、贊嘆、驚異、憤怒、厭惡等。讀時(shí)一般用降調(diào)。
仔細(xì)觀察這三句話：
It’s so beautiful!
I love his music!
What a beautiful city!
我們發(fā)現(xiàn)這些句子大致分為兩類。
第一類：
It’s so beautiful!
I love his music!
That’s my favourite song!
這類感嘆句在句式上與陳述句沒(méi)有任何區(qū)別，只是將句號(hào)變成了感嘆號(hào)，語(yǔ)氣變得更強(qiáng)烈而已。
這一類句子在書(shū)面語(yǔ)中我們用感嘆號(hào)表達(dá)感嘆的語(yǔ)氣，在口語(yǔ)中則是通過(guò)說(shuō)話的語(yǔ)氣來(lái)表達(dá)強(qiáng)烈的情感。

第二類：兩大句型
1. What +(a / an) +形容詞+名詞+(主語(yǔ)+ 謂語(yǔ))！
這是以名詞為中心詞，以what作限定詞的感嘆句的基本結(jié)構(gòu)。
①中心詞為單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞，其前有冠詞。如：What a clever boy (he is)!
②中心詞為不可數(shù)名詞，其前無(wú)冠詞。如：What fine weather (it is)!
③中心詞為復(fù)數(shù)名詞，其前無(wú)冠詞。如：What beautiful flowers (they are)!
2. How +形容詞 / 副詞+(主語(yǔ)+ 謂語(yǔ))！
這是以形容詞為中心詞，以how作形容詞或副詞修飾語(yǔ)的感嘆句的基本結(jié)構(gòu)。如：
How kind you are!
How fast he runs!

Summary
1. 選擇疑問(wèn)句：由or連接兩個(gè)或兩個(gè)以上并列的內(nèi)容
2.感嘆句是表示喜怒哀樂(lè)等強(qiáng)烈感情的句子 ，常用句式：
普通陳述句（加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣）
What + (a / an) + 形容詞+ 名詞+ (主語(yǔ)+ 謂語(yǔ))！
How + 形容詞 / 副詞+ (主語(yǔ)+ 謂語(yǔ))！
