1. 動(dòng)詞不定式做賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)

不定式做賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)是對(duì)賓語(yǔ)的補(bǔ)充說(shuō)明。

1)帶to的動(dòng)詞不定式作賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)的動(dòng)詞主要有:要求允許提議(ask, allow,  advise),期望邀請(qǐng)鼓勵(lì)(expect,  invite, encourage),教導(dǎo)告訴想要(teach, tell, want),等待希望愿意(wait for, wish, would like / love)。如:

I’d invite her to have dinner at my house.

We should allow the children to choose their own clothes. 

2)不帶to的不定式作賓補(bǔ) 

在主動(dòng)句里,動(dòng)詞不定式在使役動(dòng)詞(make, let,  have)或感官動(dòng)詞(feel, listen to, hear,  look at, see, watch, notice)之后作賓補(bǔ)時(shí),不定式需省去to。包括四“看”:look at, observe, see, watch,三“讓”:have, let, make,二“聽(tīng)”:hear, listen to,一“感覺(jué)”:feel,一“注意”:notice。如:

我感覺(jué)有人開(kāi)了我的門(mén)。 

Please listen to me sing the song again.

請(qǐng)聽(tīng)我把這首歌再唱一遍。 

You can’t let the boy stand in the sun.

你不能讓那孩子站在太陽(yáng)底下。 

You must watch me carefully do everything.

你必須仔細(xì)觀察我所做的一切。

注意:

感官動(dòng)詞后既可跟省略to的不定式作賓補(bǔ),也可跟現(xiàn)在分詞作賓補(bǔ)。其區(qū)別是:前者強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作的全過(guò)程或經(jīng)常性;后者則強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作在進(jìn)行(片斷)。試比較: 

I heard her sing. 

我聽(tīng)見(jiàn)她唱了歌。 

I heard her singing.

我聽(tīng)見(jiàn)她正在唱歌。

... ... ...

2. 動(dòng)詞不定式做目的狀語(yǔ)

如果想要表達(dá)“做某事是為了什么”,可以用動(dòng)詞不定式表示目的,作目的狀語(yǔ)。不定式做目的狀語(yǔ)時(shí),可以放在句首,頁(yè)可以放在句尾。置于句首時(shí)常表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。如:

In order to catch the early bus, she got up very early.

A group of young people got together to discuss this question. 

She came to this city to visit her daughter.

3. 不定式做原因狀語(yǔ)和結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)

1)原因狀語(yǔ),多見(jiàn)于“sb.+be+adj.+to do...”結(jié)構(gòu)句中。如:

I feel very lucky to have him.

He ran out of money to buy old bikes. 

2)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ),多見(jiàn)于“too...to”,“enough to...”結(jié)構(gòu)句中。如:

I’m too tired to do it well. 

The room is big enough for three people to live in.
