1. They used to be very active together.
used to是一個(gè)固定結(jié)構(gòu)，意為“過去經(jīng)常，以前常常”，其后用動詞原形。它表示過去存在某種狀態(tài)或者過去的某種經(jīng)常性、習(xí)慣性的行為或者動作，并意味著這種動作目前已經(jīng)不存在，所以它只表示過去，不表示現(xiàn)在。含used to的句式結(jié)構(gòu)如下：
①肯定句：主語＋used to＋動詞原形＋其他。如：I used to play with my friends after school.過去放學(xué)后我常常和朋友們一起玩。
②否定句：主語＋didn't＋use/usedn't to＋動詞原形＋其他。如：You didn't use to like pop songs.你過去不喜歡流行歌曲。
③一般疑問句：Did＋主語＋use to＋動詞原形＋其他？如：Did your sister use to be quiet？你的妹妹過去很安靜嗎？
2.They played games outdoors.
outdoors作副詞，意為“在戶外”。其反義詞為indoors(在室內(nèi))。如：It was warm enough to be outdoors all afternoon.天氣很暖和，整個(gè)下午都可以待在戶外。
【拓展】outdoor作形容詞，意為“戶外的，在戶外的”，其反義詞為indoor(室內(nèi)的)。
3.Tim is not active any more.
not...any more是固定短語，意為“不再……”，相當(dāng)于no more。
