news 和information 辨析
news“消息；新聞”，主要側(cè)重于“新”。它是指事件等發(fā)生后不久的消息。尤其指廣播、電視、報(bào)刊等新聞媒介所報(bào)道的“消息”和“新聞”，是不可數(shù)名詞。
eg：There is a piece of interesting news in the newspaper.
報(bào)上有一則有趣的新聞。
information作“消息；情報(bào)”講時(shí)，指通過觀察、學(xué)習(xí)、閱讀、調(diào)查和交談所獲得的消息、情報(bào)乃至資料和知識等。它側(cè)重于內(nèi)容，是不可數(shù)名詞。
