考向一【難點,易錯點】百分數(shù)的表達法:基數(shù)詞+percent。注意無論數(shù)字有多大,percent 都用單數(shù)形式。
eg:Prices rose by 6 percent last year.
去年,物價上漲了6%。
基數(shù)詞+ percent+of+名詞(短語)、代詞作主語時,謂語動詞與of 后面的名詞(短語)、代詞在數(shù)上保持一致,即當名詞(短語)、代詞為單數(shù)(或不可數(shù))時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式;當名詞(短語)、代詞為復數(shù)時, 謂語動詞用復數(shù)形式。
eg:Seventy percent of the rice is from the south. 百分之七十的大米來自南方。
one fifth of...,half of...,the rest of...,most of...等一些短語作主語時,同樣謂語動詞與of后面的名詞(短語)、代詞在數(shù)上保持一致,即當名詞(短語)、代詞為單數(shù)(或不可數(shù))時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式;當名詞(短語)、代詞為復數(shù)時, 謂語動詞用復數(shù)形式。
Fifty percent of the water in our city________(come) from the Yellow River.
【點撥】句意:我們城市的百分之五十的水來自黃河。
基數(shù)詞+percent of+名詞(短語)在句中作主語,名詞(短語)是單數(shù)或不可數(shù)時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式;名詞(短語)是復數(shù)時,謂語動詞用復數(shù)形式。water是不可數(shù)名詞,故填comes。

rest/rest/n. 剩余部分;其余的人;其他事物
the rest在句中作主語時,謂語動詞的單復數(shù)形式依據(jù)它所指代的名詞的單復數(shù)形式而定,即所指代的名詞為復數(shù)時,則謂語動詞用復數(shù)形式;所指代的名詞為單數(shù)時,則謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。
eg:These grapes are mine. The rest are yours.
這些葡萄是我的。其余的(葡萄)是你的。
Twenty workers are from China in our factory, and the rest ________from other countries.

【點撥】考查主謂一致。當the rest 在句中作主語時,謂語動詞的單復數(shù)形式由它所指代的內容的單復數(shù)來決定。句意:在我們工廠,有二十個工人來自中國,其余的來自其他國家。這里the rest = the rest of workers,指代的名詞是復數(shù),且前半句時態(tài)為一般現(xiàn)在時,故選C。
