1．The minute I sat down in front of the TV，my mom came over.
同義句：My mom came over as soon as I sat down in front of the TV.我一在電視機(jī)前坐下來(lái)，我媽媽就走過(guò)來(lái)了。
the minute意為“一……就……”，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)。通常情況下主從句時(shí)態(tài)要一致。但主句用一般將來(lái)時(shí)，從句則用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)表將來(lái)，即“主將從現(xiàn)”。
例句：I'll give the note to her the minute she comes back.她一回來(lái)我就把便條給她。
2．I'm just as tired as you are!
as…as…意為“與……一樣……”，用于同級(jí)比較。第一個(gè)as為副詞，后接形容詞或副詞原級(jí)；第二個(gè)as為連詞，引導(dǎo)比較狀語(yǔ)從句。as…as…的否定形式為not as/so…as…意為“……不如……”。
