【拓展】它還可以作名詞，表示“經(jīng)驗(yàn)或經(jīng)歷”。
表示“經(jīng)歷”時(shí)，是可數(shù)名詞；表示“經(jīng)驗(yàn)”時(shí)是不可數(shù)名詞。
eg：teaching experience 教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)
◆I have a fear of heights, but that won't stop me from being a pilot.
我恐高，但那不能阻止我成為一名飛行員。
(1)a fear of heights表示“恐高”。
(2)stop sb. from doing 意思是“阻止某人以免……”。
eg：The door can stop animals from going out.
