1. 條件狀語從句
當(dāng)一個句子在復(fù)合句中用作狀語時叫做狀語從句。當(dāng)從句表達(dá)“如果……”的意思時，叫做條件狀語從句，我們通常使用連詞if，unless來引導(dǎo)。
if引導(dǎo)的條件狀語從句可以放在主句之前，但主從句之間常用逗號隔開。if引導(dǎo)的條件狀語從句也可以放在主句之后，主從句之間無需用逗號隔開。
e.g. If he wants to go, please tell me.
Don’t cross the road if the traffic light is red.
unless是連詞，意為“除非；如果不”，也可以引導(dǎo)條件狀語從句，含有否定意義，相當(dāng)于if ... not。
【注意】unless引導(dǎo)條件狀語從句時，如果主句是一般將來時，從句用一般現(xiàn)在時表將來。
e.g. We’ll go to the concert unless it doesn’t rain.
2. 讓步狀語從句
讓步狀語從句由下列從屬連詞引導(dǎo)：
though（雖然），although（雖然），as（盡管），even if（即使），even though（即使），no matter …（不管）等。
e.g. Although it rained a lot, we enjoyed our holiday.
The house isn’t very nice. I like the garden though.
Even though I was really tired, I couldn’t sleep.
I’ll visit him this evening even if I can stay only a few minutes.
